Katherine Pace, PT, DPT
I’m Dr. Katherine V Pace and I am extremely passionate about helping you navigate through your pelvic floor issues so that you can live your best life.
I graduated from Rutgers University in 2005 with a Bachelors in Exercise Science. I earned my clinical doctorate from The University of Medicine and Dentistry in 2008. I was exclusively practicing in outpatient orthopedics until I fell in love with the pelvic floor specialty. I became Pelvic Health Certified in 2017 through a 1 year program with Evidence in Motion.
Currently, in 2024, I am getting my certification in Fertility to be able to help even more pelvic floor patients.
In 2010 I had become extremely frustrated with at least a dozen different doctors as they failed to take my son’s constipation issues seriously. (He was not even one year old at the time.) I understand what it feels like to be misunderstood, unheard, and lost. Doctors kept telling me my son was fine. I finally sought my own specialists in NYC and quickly thereafter he was diagnosed with a very rare colon disease that needed multiple surgical interventions.
I have a special place in my heart for my patients that are almost made to believe their pain or symptoms are all in their head. I am here to help you find out if there is a better way to resolve your issues through exercise and movement instead of with pills and surgery.
Natalie Trubin, PT, DPT
I am a pelvic floor physical therapist with over 10 years of clinical experience. I graduated from Northeastern University in 2014 with my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. After graduating, I started my career in NYC, working in outpatient orthopedics.
Transitioning from orthopedics to pelvic floor physical therapy was a natural evolution for me. While working in orthopedics, I frequently treated conditions such as chronic lower back pain, hip pain, and overuse injuries. However, I soon recognized that the pelvic floor played a crucial yet often overlooked role in these symptoms.
Since then, I have been passionately dedicated to helping patients to overcome the profound impact pelvic floor conditions can have on overall well-being and quality of life. I know even deciding to come to pelvic floor PT can be a huge step to take. I am here to create a collaborative and motivating environment where you feel empowered to reach your goals and take back ownership of your life.
In addition to my experience working in-person with patients, I have extensive experience with virtual care. I am also a registered yoga teacher (RYT-200) and registered prenatal yoga teacher (RPYT).
I am excited to join the wonderful team at Haven Pelvic PT!
Ilene Rosenthal-Schulman, PT, DPT
I have been a practicing physical therapist since 2009 with most of that time being fully ensconced in the world of Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy. I have been treating people with pelvic floor issues across their lifespan for the past 14+ years. People are very private about their pelvic floor issues and I find it to be an honor and privilege to help them.
My introduction to pelvic floor PT was through personal experience. I needed a Pelvic Floor surgery while I was in PT School and next was pelvic floor PT. I was enamored with the specialty and directed my career path toward pelvic floor health. I was able to do a clinical affiliation in Pelvic Floor Health while I was a student and the rest is history…
I have practiced PT in various large healthcare settings over the years and I am excited to join the Haven team to share my expertise, passion and compassionate care with the community.
My treatment philosophy is to listen to my patient’s story and apply my knowledge to their individual needs. With kind and gentle hands, I use my physical therapy skills to help them achieve their personal goals.
I am a graduate of Barnard College with a degree in Economics. Years later I followed my dreams of becoming a Physical Therapist by attending and graduating from Seton Hall University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and enjoying hobbies- cooking, quilting and fly fishing.
Debbie Landau Bauer, PT, MSPT
I have been practicing in the field of women’s health/pelvic floor physical therapy for the last 25 years. I am passionate about women’s health and I have dedicated my career to helping women throughout their lives. I strive to educate my patients about their bodies and to help them navigate and overcome the physical challenges that may often accompany the prenatal and postpartum periods, the transition to menopause, or a pelvic pain diagnosis.
I graduated from Cornell University in 1993 with a B.A. in Government. After working in health policy I was drawn more to health sciences than to policy. I pursued my Master of Science in Physical Therapy degree and graduated in 1998 from The University of Miami. I was always interested in women’s health and had an opportunity in PT school to do a clinical affiliation in a women’s health practice. Working there solidified my passion and commitment to women’s health. I have been working in outpatient settings doing pelvic floor physical therapy ever since, and I am so excited to be a part of the team of physical therapists at Haven.
